About the Role
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to provide insurance and administrative support for a healthcare practice. This role focuses heavily on insurance verification, prior authorizations, and maintaining accurate documentation to support patient care and daily operations.
What You’ll Do
- Verify insurance benefits for multiple healthcare services. (Chiropractic, acupuncture, physical therapy, and other services offered by the practice)
- Obtain and manage prior authorizations.
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Maintain records within the practice management system.
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding benefits and requirements.
- Support administrative and patient care coordination tasks.

- Prior insurance verification experience is required.
- Experience with prior authorizations is preferred but not required.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- Comfortable communicating with insurance companies by phone.
- Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Strong time management and follow-through.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work independently in a remote environment.
