Virtual Administrative & Insurance Verification Assistant – SFU7uya

Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours/week)
Compensation: $4–$6/hour (based on experience) + 13th Month Pay
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM Central Time

(Manila, PH Time: Tuesday–Friday: 4:00 AM–9:00 AM)

Training Schedule: During the first few weeks, availability is required beginning at 2:00 PM Central Time. After training, the schedule will transition to the regular 3:00 PM start time.

About the Role

We’re seeking a reliable and highly organized Virtual Assistant to provide administrative, reporting, patient communication, and insurance support to a busy healthcare team.

This position is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who communicates professionally, learns new processes quickly, and can manage a variety of tasks independently. Previous insurance experience is preferred but not required—training will be provided.

What You’ll Do

  • Send new-patient paperwork and demographic forms, and follow up on incomplete documents.
  • Prepare end-of-day reports covering patients seen, missed appointments, new patients who committed to care, and total visits.
  • Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly practice reports.
  • Support Personal Injury cases by communicating with insurance adjusters and attorneys, assisting with medical records, verifying coverage, and checking payment status.
  • Download Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and send them to the billing department for posting.
  • Complete and submit insurance prior authorizations.
  • Make confirmation calls for monthly patient seminars.
  • Post patient payments and transactions to patient ledgers after visits.
  • Run credit-card expiration reports and set reminders for patients whose cards are nearing expiration.
  • Create, update, and manage automated text-message campaigns and patient communication workflows.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in administration, virtual assistance, customer service, or a similar support role.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
  • Professional and confident phone communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Comfortable making outbound calls to insurance companies and attorneys’ offices.
  • Able to learn multiple administrative processes and manage tasks independently.
  • Comfortable using spreadsheets and web-based platforms.
  • Previous insurance verification or insurance support experience is preferred but not required.
  • Dependable, positive, and willing to learn.

  • Power backup (UPS, generator, or laptop battery) to prevent interruptions during outages
